So BASIC I am Amazing...
I realized that the reason deviant art was being Whack was because my file was too big, so today, after finishing my power point, I edited the pixel dimensions and resolutions and what not using photoshop, and VOILA the size is now tinnnnnyyyyyy!
AND HERE IS MY INTERACTIVE NARRATIVE!!!

I'm not being funny right, but my work is only 3MB over the poxy limit and it won't let me upload it.
I've said it before and I'll say it again DeviantArt is whack.
Does anyone know how to make the file size for the SWF. smaller?
Because, I've tried everything and it wont work.
If you do your help would be MUCH appreciated.
If not I'm just going to sit in the corner and cry!

FUDGING HELL!

Basicallyyyyy....

My Whiteboard pixelation thing was stressing me out BIG TIME because it was taking so fricking long. SO, I completely changed my Idea. In an hour and a half I've taken 360 pictures,
now all I have to do is edit them and add some music! I'm so happy right now it's UNREAL! (Even if it is two weeks late) here are some of my picturesssss.....

White Board Images

I've been looking at some of my photos that I have taken of my White board images for my pixelation piece, and I've realised that I'm definately going to have to play around with them in photoshop, especially with the brightness and contrast, otherwise they are going to look quite messy!

Pixelation...

Well this is a funny story... I decided to do my pixelation using a white board, like we did in our first week, I took about 150 photos, all different shots of my white board images, BUT my friend accidently deleted all my photos when she was drunk, at the time I thought it was funny, as I was also drunk, however now I'm thinking CRAP because it obviously means I've lost about a week and a halfs worth of work. Clearly not acctually funny, but what can you do, other than start again...

My idea is based around dreams, I thought it would make the basis for a good story because anything can happen in dreams, now ive just got to finish taking the pictures. It's a really long process but, I really like pixelation!

Interactive Narrative- The General Idea

Basically I'm finding Flash realllllly hard to work, it's probably the most confusing programme I've EVER used! This is why I won't be posting my Narrative.. because its not actually finished!

However, I am going to post some of my pictures that I have taken for my narrative... just so you can see that I have actually taken pictures!

Basically the idea of my Narrative, is that you enter a block of flats to find a certain character, in the block you can enter different flats, and different rooms inside each flat. It's taking a while but it should be quite good when it's finished!

I realise I've been really shoddy recently and havent actually posted any of my work on my blog! This is partly because they aren't completed yet, as I am still making ammendments. But, I have decided that I'm going to be really good as of now! If not you are allowed to slap me....

COMPETITIONS

I've found two different competitions that I would maybe be able to enter in the future.

The first is a competition for Web Design, I've never actually personally done Web Design but, I still thought this type of competition could maybe be relevant to some of the work that I will be doing, and it could also be a good competition for some of the other people on my course to consider entering:

The second competition is the Adobe Design Achievment Awards. This competition offers a range of categories; Interactive Media, Video and Motion and Traditional Media. This is then divided into sub categories. This competion would be perfect for the work that is being done on my course:
